Oh, I am such a slacker!!! You had your baby boy! Congrats, and he is beautiful! I was thinking of you the other day and wondering how your pregnancy was going...I should check your (and my) blog more often! Welcome to this crazy thing called motherhood - and believe everyone who says it goes fast. My baby is almost 13 and I SWEAR I was in labor two weeks ago. :)

CONGRATS! I haven't stopped by for a while, so I'm a bit behind. What is Wiley Guy's name?! :-)

Your baby is cute but not that big. I can't believe after everything your mom went through, you happily signed up for major abdominal surgery instead of at least TRYING to have a normal birth. Instead you let your son be ripped out of your body, not even knowing if he was ready to be born.

I will only address this ONCE.... First way to have the balls to leave your true identity Anonymous, but I am guessing you read Maybe If You Just Relax, a good friend of mine from college. I don't have to explain my decision to anyone, but I will. To make a statement on a public forum that is so ill-informed and judgemental is laughable. I did not "sign up" for a C-Section... my OB does not perform them unless medically necessary. When I went for my last appt, at 39 weeks, I was measuring 43 weeks and the doctor told me I needed a C-Section, which they had thought for quite some time. I have a narrow pelvis opening, as well as my mother having long, horrible labors. My sons head was 15 inches in diameter and they would not allow me to deliver vagianlly for fear of complications, such as shoulder distosia. For someone to ridicule a decision they have absolutely no part in is so small minded. Perhaps you should get the entire story before attacking someone on their choices. However, my C-Section was absolutely wonderful. I had minimal pain, did not rely on any pain meds once I got home, and had no issues with recovery. I am sorry that you are so bitter and miserable that you must leave scathing anonymous comments on others blogs. When I say that the choice of a C-Section was one I did not take lightly, trust me it was not. Now that I have justified my choice, which I should never have to, kindly refrain from making yourself look like any more of an ass by leaving any more comments. I don't care if you had a vaginal birth with no pain meds, you breast fed (I did too!) or that your children watch no television and don't eat sugar. My son is healthy, happy and amazing. Try and enjoy motherhood instead of preaching your narrow minded beliefs. I regret nothing, except allowing your comment to make me feel I had to justify my choices.

OMG Kristen!!! Just read the above anonymous post. Most ridiculous load of crap ever. If I knew who this person was I would share my story of "natural delivery" of a too big for my body baby...and my second baby was a c-section and it was much easier on me and my baby than the first one... nevermind...she's so not worth it!
